The detail
What you're actually paying for
You pay for the time Sam is on the line, added up over the month and rounded up once at the end, not call by call. Calls that ring out or never reach Sam cost nothing, and the meter stops when Sam transfers a call to you.
On Basic and Pro, extra minutes are $0.20 each and Sam never stops answering — that would defeat the point of hiring a receptionist. You get an email at 80% of your allowance and again at 100%, so the bill is never a surprise.
Both plans currently include double the standard minutes: 300 instead of 150 on Basic, 1,000 instead of 500 on Pro. If you start now, that stays yours for as long as you keep the subscription. It isn't a countdown or a discount that expires on you.
The trial lasts 14 days and includes up to 60 minutes of calls. We take a card at sign-up and charge $0 today, so the line can go live immediately rather than waiting on a payment step. Cancel before day 14 and you're never charged. If you use all 60 minutes first, Sam takes messages until your plan starts.
There is no contract: Tylum is month to month, with no notice period. Switch between Basic and Pro or cancel from your account; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. If you turn off call forwarding your number rings exactly as it did before.
Pro covers one business, one calendar and one transfer number. If you have several locations, numbers or team calendars, Enterprise is built for that: talk to us at [email protected].
Nothing is charged separately: your Tylum number, setup, transcripts, message delivery and support are all included. There's no per-user fee and no onboarding charge.
